Active Constituent: Sodium Bicarbonate. “Used to raise total alkalinity levels in pool & spa water”. When you add Buffer to a pool with a chemical feeder which has a sensor, then this needs to be done accurately. Levels that are too high or too low will play havoc with the chlorine and acid additions which will result in higher chemical costs. Buffer should be added well away from the suction point/s in the pool.
